Love the brand that you work for! I had such an awesome summer sharing my passion for both Under Armour and Supply Chain with not only the teammates that I worked with but also the rest of the interns that were in the program. I was excited to go to work every day and it's an awesome feeling! That's something you can convey from the very start with your application and interviews - I think this is applicable for any CPG/retail company.

I would not recommend people working at Under Armour unless they are willing to do more work than what they are paid for. Although the good thing about working for UA as a student is having a flexible schedule.

I wish I could have stayed on-campus longer!

What I liked

My interactions with customers and co workers were some of the best I’ve ever had! I had a job relating to my favorite interests-shoes and sportswear- and earned money talking and selling things I like!

What I wish was different

I wish I was there longer before I had to come back for school. I only had 9 days under my belt before I had to return back to college for my sophomore year, but I enjoyed every moment!

TAKE ADVANATGE OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO NEW PEOPLE YOU MEET! You never know who you might see...

What I liked

Great group of interns - the company's culture is a really young, and fun one, everything is fast paced.

What I wish was different

Internal disorganization - there's a real lack of standardization across groups and procedures, which was incredibly frustrating. Painful emphasis on 'wins' - if you didn't label everything as 'win', regardless of if it were just a standard task, management would be visibly annoyed and displeased.

Advice

Overall an amazing time, just be sure that you have a set project.
