Summer 2026 Rotational Internship Program
UrbanCore Construction is seeking motivated students for our Summer 2026 Rotational Internship Program. This hands-on experience will immerse interns in Preconstruction, Field Operations, and Project Management, offering a comprehensive view of the construction process.
What You'll Do
- Preconstruction (3 weeks) - Assist with estimating, permit acquisition, subcontractor coordination, and project planning.
- Field Operations (3 weeks) - Gain on-site experience, observe project updates, review safety protocols, and collaborate with subcontractors.
- Project Management (3 weeks) - Learn about budgeting, procurement, RFI/submittal processes, risk management, and client relations.
What qualities and abilities does our ideal intern possess?
- Enrolled in a Construction Management, Engineering, or related program
- Strong communicator and eager to learn
- Interest and passion for building and the industry
- Highest integrity and always does the right thing
- Accountable, doesn’t make excuses, takes responsibility
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated judgment and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated, positive, high-energy person

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work well independently
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
