Job Description: Multimedia Intern
Overview
This is a remote/virtual, part-time contract (1099, no benefits) position. The multimedia intern is a combination of an editorial, production, and an administrative position. The Multimedia Intern supports senior staff in all aspects of the administration, planning, and production of various print, digital, and broadcast content created, distributed, or managed by Phenomenal Media Productions.
This is a remote/virtual part-time position, roughly 10 hours per week. However, there will be some assignments where the Multimedia Intern will be required to be on location in the Metro-Atlanta area. Must have own transportation. Company will reimburse for mileage to required locations.
Reports to: Executive Producer
Duties
- Write articles, news releases, promotional content, take pictures, or shoot video as assigned.
- Perform basic proofreading using Associated Press style as assigned.
- Create social media and website content as assigned, using various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and GoDaddy.
- Edit video to create programs and promotional material.
- Post blogs, podcasts, and video to online platforms.
- Perform editorial or administrative tasks as assigned.
Compensation: $20/hour. Paid monthly by direct deposit.
