Field Operations Intern

Peterson Farms is a progressive,  family-operated row crop production farm based out of Loretto, KY.

As a Field Operations Intern, you can expect to gain an understanding of how we utilize equipment and technology to produce high yields, all the while maintaining proper stewardship of the land that we farm. This is a very hands-on, operationally focused internship where, after being properly trained, interns will be tasked with operating equipment on their own.

Interns will have a wide array of duties, including but not limited to:

• Utilizing on-board computing systems
• Repairing and maintaining equipment and operating facilities
• Assisting in the movement/transport of necessary equipment between fields
• Various other on-farm duties as assigned
