Winter/Spring Business Operations Intern
In this position, the intern will work across the internal departments of the company, gaining exposure to various aspects of business development and operations, project management, and strategic planning. It is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the behind-the-scenes work of a purpose-driven company and eager to contribute to impactful initiatives.
SELECTED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in internal development within the company
- Lead hiring efforts for the upcoming season, reaching out to candidates
- Draft documents that pertain to the structure of the company (such as hiring and onboarding process documents)
- Create slide decks for internal processes
- Conduct research as needed to support various projects and tasks
- Create and organize spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Responsibilities may extend to additional business operations initiatives and projects as needed
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Proficiency in GoogleDocs and GoogleSheets
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office programs, plus the ability to learn new software quickly
- Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible to changes in roles and responsibilities
- Genuine interest in Project Management, Business, or Business Development professions as a career option
- Preferred but not required: Experience with website management and SEO optimization
Note: This is an unpaid internship. The intern will be offered academic credit for this internship.
