About EAK:
We at Erase All Kittens are on a mission to change the world for young girls who believe that learning to code is more for boys, and to pave a way for greater inclusion and representation of talented women in the workplace.

We're doing this by encouraging girls ages 8-12 to learn digital skills via Erase All Kittens, a multi-award-winning online game that teaches real-world coding skills and computational thinking, while incorporating storytelling, interactive dialogue and fun ‘Mario-style’ gameplay. 

EAK has over 300,000 players worldwide and is backed by MIT and Google for Startups. We are now creating a sequel, teaching girls emerging and essential skills to navigate the digital world, safely and confidently.

Internship Description:
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. We want to spread the word about our company and build an online presence. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Drafting 2-3 posts per week for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook (and eventually more).
• Following up with teachers, parents, kids to evoke testimonials to post and add to our site and collateral,
• Thoughtfully responding to relevant posts by other companies, users, or events on social media to engage with the community and build our brand presence.
• Monitoring and analyzing key metrics related to online growth, and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Desired Skills: Social Media, Marketing, Content Creation, Creativity, Communication Skills, Analytical Thinking, Experience with one or more design tools (e.g., Figma, Illustrator, Canva, etc)
