We are currently seeking Summer Project Engineer Interns who are eager to gain hands-on experience in construction project management and contribute to the success of our field operations.
Project Engineer Intern’s Responsibilities:
- Assist Superintendents in supervising subcontractors to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and to quality standards.
- Help develop, update, and track construction schedules.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Maintain jobsite documentation including daily logs, drawings, and photos using project management software (Viewpoint Team).
- Coordinate punch list work with subcontractors.
- Enforce jobsite safety requirements.
- Attend project progress meetings with field personnel and subcontractors.
- Assist in creating progress reports.
- Help maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
- Build positive and professional relationships with employees, owners, vendors, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- BIM experience is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Compensation is based on experience and may be adjusted accordingly.**
