Role Overview


 

Mitchell Productions is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Digital Sales Marketing Intern to join our team. This role combines social media management, content creation and digital marketing with unique opportunities to work directly in the coaching industry. 


 

The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail and proven experience creating engaging Reels and social media content. We're looking for someone who understands that every post, caption, and visual represents our brand and treats it accordingly. You should be comfortable working with AI tools while bringing the human creativity and judgment that makes content truly connect. 


 

This internship is eligible for college credit.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google My Business and YouTube
  • Create compelling Reels and short-form video content that drives engagement and leads the viewer to take action
  • Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule across all platforms
  • Create visually compelling graphics, videos, stories, and posts using Canva
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement and followers
  • Track social media metrics and optimize content based on performance insights
  • Engage with Facebook followers, respond to comments during our LIVE stream podcast, and foster community engagement

Blogs, Media & Press:

  • Assist in creating and managing blog content that highlights company news or thought pieces

Sales & Marketing Support:

  • Support sales initiatives by creating promotional materials and marketing collateral
  • Help develop strategies to convert social media engagement into client inquiries

Email Marketing:

  • Develop compelling email copy that highlights Mitchell Productions' services & success stories

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist with scheduling posts, coordinating campaigns, and other ad-hoc administrative duties
  • Document best practices and standard operating procedures for social media and content creation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail; this is our top priority, every piece of content must be polished and professional
  • Proven experience creating Reels and short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms
  • Self-starter mentality, takes ownership of projects and proactively identifies opportunities
  • Active presence and proficiency in Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and content creation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker who enjoys developing fresh content ideas
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT while maintaining authentic, human-driven creativity
  • Adaptability: comfortable pivoting between tasks and thriving in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Background or interest in marketing
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of sales strategies and lead generation tactics
  • Experience writing blogs or long-form content

Compensation & Benefits
