Corporate Finance Accounting Intern

Posi1on Overview

The Corporate Finance function at Stream Innovations supports decision-making across the business through accounting,

reconciliations, reporting, forecasting support, and process improvement. You will assist with core accounting functions

and reporting processes tied to home improvement lending operations.

Key Responsibili1es

• Journal Entries: Prepare and review journal entries related to securitization, loan origination, and servicing

activities

• Account Reconciliations: Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Regulatory Reporting: Support preparation of regulatory filings such as call reports and regulatory schedules

• Assist with financial statement analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and risks

• Support KPI calculations to monitor financial health and operational efficiency

• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast/budget) and assist in identifying improvement opportunities

• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed

Qualifica1ons

Required

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

• 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related internship role

• Basic accounting knowledge (debits/credits, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic spreadsheets

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

• Exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

• CPA or CPA Candidate

• Chartered Accountant
