Summer Engineering Intern

Ute Water is recruiting for one (1) summer Engineering Intern who is highly motivated, organized, and hardworking. 

Gain Hands On Experience In:

• Design
• Analysis
• Construction oversight in
  • Civil 
  • Mechanical
  • Structural
  • Instrumentation and Controls Integration

Duties Include:

• Drafting
• Surveying
• Data collection
• Site inspections
• Preparing technical documents and record drawings of constructed facilities
• Learning project management under mentorship
• Assisting with materials testing
• Pre-construction services
• Construction management

This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills, works outside in all weather conditions, and operates a motor vehicle and hand tools. 

Applicant Must

• Be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment.
• Be enrolled as a continuing student in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree program at an accredited instiutuion.
• Follow specific instructions/directions. 
• Possess a valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record. 
• Pass a drug screen, physical, background and reference check.
