Summer Architecture Co-Op
Summer 2026 Architecture Co-0p
As an architectural intern, you’ll gain experience in basic architectural assignments under the direction of an Architect. This will include a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project. This will include design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for the assigned project work. Learn how to provide architectural services including measuring and documenting field conditions of existing structures, developing design documents to repair, restore, and renovate existing buildings, and limited Construction Administration services.
Every day, you’re going to be working in or around any or all of these elements:
- Work with a team of like-minded colleagues on preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse projects for cultural, college and university, government, and commercial clients.
- You’ll be a part of the production team to develop design and construction documents
- Gaining valuable experience in the art and science of the architectural profession
- Last but not least, ensure all the I’s are dotted, and T’s are crossed on everything that you do
To THRIVE in this role, here’s what you’re going to need:
- Proficiency using Revit, AutoCAD, as well as office and project management software (ie Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project)
Here’s the type of person who fits in with our team:
- Someone who wants to work collaboratively with teammates. You might have something to teach or learn. We like to share.
- Passion for Architecture
What are we like to work with? We’re collaborative and team-oriented. Yes, REALLY. Like the tide, we rise and fall together, so communication is key. That’s why we establish clear objectives and expectations with each other and with our clients. Does this sound like the type of environment you’re looking for?
We realize it’s hard to know everything about a person from just a resume, just as much as you realize it’s hard to know everything about what a company’s like off of a job post. Apply today. Let’s talk and see if we’re a good match for one another.
