Property Management Intern
Position Overview
The Property Management Marketing & Leasing Intern will gain hands-on experience in multifamily operations by supporting marketing initiatives, training programs, and on-site leasing activities. This internship provides exposure to both corporate and field environments, allowing the intern to develop practical skills in real estate marketing, resident engagement, social media management, and leasing operations.
This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, real estate, business operations, or property management who are seeking real-world experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented industry.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Digital Presence
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content for apartment communities (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Help manage and update property listings on online platforms and company websites.
- Support branding initiatives and marketing campaigns for communities.
- Assist with creating marketing materials such as flyers, content creation, and promotional signage.
- Monitor online reviews and help draft professional responses as directed.
- Collaborate on email marketing, online listings, and reputation management efforts.
- Support community outreach and promotional events to boost resident and employee engagement and satisfaction.
Training and Corporate Support
- Support internal training initiatives.
- Help prepare guides, presentations, and materials for leasing and operational teams.
- Assist with administrative projects related to marketing, training and overall operations.
Software & Technology Integration
- Learn and be familiar with property management and marketing software for lead tracking, CRM, Yardi, and resident communication.
- Help update, trouble shoot and support in a helpdesk capacity within property management platforms.
- Explore new tools or integrations that enhance operational and marketing efficiency.
On-Site Leasing and Field Exposure[KB1]
- Spend scheduled time at apartment communities working alongside leasing teams.
- Shadow leasing professionals to learn day-to-day operations including inquires, tours, resident interactions, and leasing processes.
- Observe property operations to better understand how marketing and leasing align.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business-related program such as Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, Communications, or Hospitality.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Comfortable using social media platforms and basic design tools such as Canva.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which will include some weekends.
- Capacity to walk and stand frequently while conducting property tours and duties.
- Other duties deemed as necessary by Owners or Management.
- Perform tasks in office, clubhouse, apartments, apartment buildings and on the grounds. Tasks are performed throughout the community in all types of weather.
- Ability to travel between corporate office and on-site communities.
