Opportunity Fellows (Seasonal Employment in the Arts)

The ArtsBuild Opportunity Fellows program places college students and recent college graduates in part-time work opportunities that provide valuable, paid intern experience in Chattanooga’s arts and cultural organizations.

Compensation and Hours:
Fellows will receive a $17.50 per hour for a maximum of 35 hours per week from ArtsBuild for the duration of the 10 Week program.  

Select organizations in the arts and culture sector agree to provide the intern they select a progressive educational experience, through direct personal contact hours or through a training program, and to aid the intern in developing a summary report of his/her/their experience.
Please note that this is an in-person work opportunity for a college student or recent college graduate. ArtsBuild no longer offers remote opportunities.
Who is eligible for an Opportunity Fellowship?
ArtsBuild is seeking innovators and forward thinkers who share ArtsBuild’s mission and possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work with others in a collaborative setting.
Other eligibility requirements include:
Individuals who HAVE NOT previously worked/interned for the organizations listed.
Organizations MAY NOT appoint pre-selected interns to satisfy the work plan as an Opportunity Fellow.

Once you familiarize yourself with the work plans for each organization, you will have the opportunity in the form below to rank your preference in fellowship placement.

Program Timeline:
Interviews for selected applicants will take place the between March 30th -April 3rd
Chosen interns will be notified the week of April 6th
