Summary:
Asia Society’s CRM & Marketing Operations team is seeking an exceptional intern who will work with stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and build solutions using advanced data systems. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of key business operations, analytics, and AI concepts and strong interest in using the latest technologies to optimize business processes and solve problems. We are continuously evolving and improving our systems for customer engagement and marketing operations.
This summer, our primary focus will be designing and developing an AI agent to support and automate workflows within our CRM and Marketing platforms as part of the project team. Interns in this role will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced non-profit environment and will develop valuable skills in project management, data analysis, business analytics, and AI implementation. Interns will work with professionals in the non-profit and business sectors and contribute to the mission of promoting a deeper understanding of Asia and the world. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge data platforms and collaborating with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- AI Agent Development & Implementation:
- Assist with Design, testing and deployment of AI agent supporting CRM and marketing operations.
- Support Integration of AI agent with existing systems such as: Slack, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain documentation for AI agent processes, guardrails, and analytics systems.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into an actionable AI and automation solution.
- Assist in training staff on the use of new AI tools, analytics platforms, and dashboards.
- Data Management & Analytics:
- Assist in data integration and data quality management across different platforms.
- Ensure clean data pipelines for AI models.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
Skills and Competencies:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and not yet have graduated at the time of the internship in computer science, business analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and enterprise technology.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Salesforce Agentforce, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Comfort working with data systems and large datasets.
- Understanding of APIs, data structures, and system integrations.
