RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Graduate Assistant/Teaching assistant (GA/TA) will serve as a teaching assistant for Sports Medicine Minor and other Athletic Training courses to provide instructional support during laboratory experiences.
• The TA will assist with the following course labs: AT 608, 610, 612, 620, 671, 614, 622, 624, 672 and HP 340 and 415.
• The TA will also support the priorities academic affairs has identified by enhancing online course quality by assisting the instructor in maintaining regular and substantive interaction with students.
• The TA will also help the athletic training program with administrative needs, such as assisting with on-campus prospective student visits, assisting program faculty with marketing and social media, program inventory/maintenance, and with the transfer of equipment between laboratory locations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Admission to the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program at Minnesota State, Mankato.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last two years of undergraduate work.
- Remain in good academic standing, at least a 3.0 GPA, at the graduate level.
- Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by start date.
- Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during assistantship, and in good academic standing.

SALARY/STIPEND: A full-time 20 hours per week graduate teaching assistantship includes a stipend of $10,000.
RELATED INFORMATION:
Minnesota State System policy requires that graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
