Responsibilities Overview
- Plans a developmentally appropriate lesson plan using children’s assessment and interests
- Demonstrates an understanding of the components of a child’s portfolio and presents their learning story
- Engages classroom with consistent routines, utilizing positive guidance strategies and leading by example
- Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families through daily communication, monthly newsletters and bi-annual conferences
- Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
- Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
