Pinterest Intern: Take the Lead for a Startup Entering Major National Accounts
What if your pins helped early educators, parents, and speech therapists discover a brand that truly makes a difference?
TA-DA! Language Productions is looking for a design-forward, strategic, and storytelling-savvy Pinterest Intern to help us turn our treasure trove of brand content into scroll-stopping, save-worthy pins that inspire, educate, and convert.
We’re a woman-founded, award-winning startup making screen-free talking books that bring language, music, and culture to life for children ages 0–8. Our products are in Nordstrom, heading to Sharper Image, and used in schools, clinics, libraries, and homes across the country. We’ve just been named a finalist for Educational Toy of the Year, and we’re growing fast.
Pinterest is where our audience dreams, plans, and saves what matters. And we want you to help us show up beautifully.
🚀 Why This Internship Is Different
• You’ll own our Pinterest strategy—and bring your aesthetic, creativity, and voice to the table
• You’ll work with real assets: photography, classroom videos, blog content, educator freebies, and more
• You can work solo or collaborate with our other interns (IG, FB, TikTok, PR, design, etc.)
• You’ll work directly with our founder and be fully supported without micromanaging
• You’ll help turn Pinterest into a meaningful source of traffic and community for a brand that’s deeply mission-driven
🌟 What You’ll Get
• A portfolio of visual storytelling and branded content
• Creative freedom + mentorship
• The chance to say: “I built the Pinterest for a startup now featured in Nordstrom and classrooms nationwide”
• Remote flexibility (about 1 hour/day or 7–10 hrs/week)
• Academic credit (if needed)
• Possibility for paid role after 60 days
💡 What You’ll Do
• Design and post original, inspiring Pinterest content that reflects our mission and product line
• Organize boards by themes like multilingual learning, cultural education, preschool resources, and speech therapy support
• Repurpose existing blogs, photos, freebies, and classroom content into educational or product-focused pins
• Help boost visibility for preorder campaigns, new launches, and Freebie Fridays
• Experiment with formats like story pins, idea pins, or pin-to-blog strategies
• Help drive Pinterest traffic back to our website and store
✅ Requirements
• You love Pinterest and understand what makes a pin beautiful, helpful, and clickable
• Strong visual design skills and a good sense of layout, color, and typography
• Familiar with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
• Organized, independent, reliable, and thoughtful
• Bonus: experience with preschool, education, or family-focused content (or interest in language learning / music)
🗓 Logistics
• Minimum 60-day unpaid internship (can grow into paid PT/FT role)
• Remote, flexible hours (just be consistent, communicative, and committed)
• Founder is available for regular mentorship and support (check-ins every 2–3 days or as needed)
• Academic credit available
💸 Why This Role Is Currently Unpaid
We’re a small startup with a big mission. Every dollar goes into product development and getting our tools into the hands of educators, families, and kids. We’re preparing to fundraise and grow—and we want to bring you with us.
This internship is your chance to:
• Build a Pinterest presence from the ground up
• Add real growth results to your resume
