Head of Seasonal Operations Intern

Remote Position - College Credit (if needed) - Unpaid

Time Commitment: 12 Months | 6-8 hours/week (Annual/Temporary) Flexible schedule based on school requirements.

General Description: 

Reporting to the Executive Director, COO, and Board Liaison, the Head of Seasonal Operations will play an essential leadership role within our student intern program, leading our Seasonal Internship Team and ensuring timely execution of key projects. The person who fills this role will be responsible for making sure projects are executed on schedule and satisfy the necessary quality standards.

 

Duties:

  • Lead the Seasonal Internship Team
  • Oversee delivery of projects, including quality control, management reporting, and planning
  • Manage, engage, and report to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and manage Seasonal Intern statement of work, to-do lists, and projects
  • Track monthly progress towards company goals
  • Act as primary contact point for Seasonal Internship Team, Executive Director, and Board
  • Manage interface between the various business work streams, departments and clients
  • Maintain Seasonal Intern incentive program
  • Promote and celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion at an organizational level
  • Plan quarterly bonding and mentoring events
  • Plan and attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee and Board meetings

 

Learning Objective/Outcomes: 

  • Upon completion of the internship, students will be able to identify and implement best practices for their chosen area of study.

Evaluation:

  • Commitment: Participate in weekly meetings and check-ins (Minimum of 75% attendance)
  • Timeliness and Organization: Track projects and meet all deadlines, or communicate with supervisor before setting new deadlines
  • Brand Integrity: Maintain organization’s brand consistency by using brand voice and designated assets in public-facing communications
  • Engagement: Accumulate points for engaging with organizational social media pages, attending workshops, attending work events, participating in marketing video/photo, filling out survey, and finishing a project/campaign
