At MSI, I was able to connect with a wide array of professionals in the field of international development that not only offered me the opportunity to develop professional skills, but also offered me personal mentorship opportunities.
What I wish was different
I wish I had challenged myself more to understand the different parts of MSI, outside of project management. I dabbled in a few other areas but maybe with more forward thinking, I could have maximized this.
Advice
I would advise future interns to set goals early on and talk to your supervisors about creating a plan to achieve them! I did that and it really helped me make the most of my experience.
